Thermal spray coating technology encompasses various methods including HVOF spray, plasma spray, arc spray, and flame spray. These processes create a protective coating on product surfaces that exhibits wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and oxidation resistance. For new products, such coatings significantly extend their service life, while for existing items, they can effectively give the coating a "rejuvenation" effect.

For instance, piston rods commonly used in industrial applications often develop surface scratches from frequent operation, which can cause oil leaks and compromise equipment performance. During repair, we first remove surface damage through grinding, then apply a specialized coating. This method significantly extends the lifespan of repaired piston rods compared to standard ones. Similarly, the rollers in factory such as guide rollers, conveyor rollers, and tension rollers experience varying degrees of wear on their surfaces and ends of shaft after prolonged use. By removing worn surfaces and reprocessing with appropriate coatings, we not only restore product dimensions but also enhance wear resistance in these critical components.

There are also high-speed rotating parts, such as motor shaft, pump shaft, bushing and so on. The sealing position of these parts is very easy to wear, and it is difficult to repair after wear. We use appropriate process to restore the size of these parts, and make the life of the repaired products far longer than new products.

Traditional repair methods primarily rely on welding techniques such as oxyacetylene arc welding, TIG welding, and gas shielded arc welding. More advanced approaches include plasma cladding and laser cladding (with cladding). However, these conventional welding processes often result in porosity, cracks, and voids. When repairing large areas, they may even cause product deformation. In contrast, thermal spray technology avoids these issues while significantly enhancing wear resistance.
