Tungsten Carbide-based Powders

Tungsten carbide-based alloy powders are a category of composite powder materials that take hard tungsten carbide (WC) particles as the wear-resistant phase, and metals such as cobalt and chromium as the binder phase. Endowed with ultra-high hardness, excellent abrasive wear resistance and impact resistance, they serve as the core consumable materials for surface strengthening under heavy-wear service conditions in industries such as mining, metallurgy and engineering machinery. Among them, WC10Co4Cr is one of the most widely applied grades, which is fully compatible with processes including High-Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) spraying, plasma surfacing and laser cladding, and is used for wear-resistant strengthening and dimensional repair of key vulnerable components.
